- Recipe Data: Recipes you create, including recipe names, ingredients, instructions, cooking times, images, and notes.
- Cookbook Data: Custom cookbooks you create, including names, descriptions, and cover images.
- Meal Plans: Weekly meal planning data including which recipes you assign to specific days and meals.
- Grocery Lists: Shopping list items you add, including item names, quantities, and checked/unchecked status.
- Imported Content: When you import recipes from external URLs (such as TikTok or Instagram links), we process the URL to extract recipe information.

When you use our App, we may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used and time spent in the App.

Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase for:
- Authentication: To securely manage user sign-in and account creation
- Cloud Firestore: To store and sync your recipes, cookbooks, meal plans, and grocery lists
- Cloud Storage: To store recipe images you upload

Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

- Selecting "Delete Account"

Cookio is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.
